Herr’s has created a new look for their Old Bay Potato Chip bags but inside the bag, the potato chips are coated with the same “old” classic blend of heat, sweet and savory seasoning known as Old Bay. Herr’s fans have been enjoying Old Bay Potato Chips for three decades.
Old Bay was developed by Gustav Brunn in 1939 to spice up steamed crabs in Maryland. The name Old Bay was inspired from a passenger ship line that traveled across the Chesapeake Bay between Baltimore, Maryland and Norfolk, Virginia.
Herr’s Old Bay Potato Chips are very popular throughout the Chesapeake Bay area but are also a fan favorite wherever Herr’s potato chips are sold. Herr's has included a recipe for making crab cakes using Herr's Old Bay Potato chips on the back of the bag too! The Old Bay Potato Chips are available in the following sizes:
10-ounce size bag Suggested Retail Price $4.29
3.75-ounce size bag Suggested Retail Price $1.69
1.875-ounce size bag Suggested Retail Price $0.99
1-ounce size bag Suggested Retail Price $0.35
