Guitar Control, the company that continues to cover the internet with guitar lessons, has yet another informative clip which can be found on You Tube. However, this tutorial falls into the category of guitar tips instead of their usual lessons in which music is taught. In fact, this video simply shows how to connect a guitar cable in a secure way that can prevent the possibility of it falling out during play.

The 1 minute clip is presented by one of their main team members, Jon MacLennan, a talented musician that’s been with Guitar Control for quite a while now. Though he does not play the six-string in this session, he offers up some fast and easy to follow advice that some musicians may find to be quite helpful.

The advice is very basic but it may actually be beneficial for guitarists, especially those who play live onstage or plan on performing in front of people one day. Furthermore, this is definitely for anyone who has ever had their cable disconnect unexpectedly in the middle of a song while onstage or off, as watching this clip could prevent that from happening again.

This latest clip means that Guitar Control now has over 300 videos on You Tube alone. Not only do they include free guitar tips, but most of them are lessons on certain songs, or specific musical genres such as jazz, rock, and reggae, to name a few. In addition, they also offer low cost DVDs for all skill levels. So nowadays, whether someone wants to learn guitar tricks, licks, or both, they can surely find a whole lot of useful info online!
