Grow Web Video is Holding a Contest for Charities to Win a Custom Marketing Video

Throughout the month of June, Grow Web Video is running a social media contest for charities and will be rewarding the winner with a custom animated "Explainer" video to use in their marketing efforts. Charities can enter now through June 15th and voting runs June 16 - 30.

Grow Web Video, an animated video production studio, has just announced a voting contest for charitable organizations. According to Julie Ball, owner of Grow Web Video, the winner of the voting contest will be rewarded with a customized animated explainer video. Non-profits are often constrained by small budgets, but with an “animated explainer video” they can effectively communicate and promote their cause. Web video is also shown to improve website conversions as well as rankings on search engines.

Charities may enter by submitting an official logo/image, along with a short description (500 characters maximum) telling fans and internet users why they should vote for their charity. All entries must be submitted at Grow Web Video’s official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/GrowWebVideo. Also, the entry must be submitted by an official representative of the charity organization, such as a manager or an employee. The entry period starts on June 1, 2013 and ends on June 15, 2013 at 11:59pm.

All entries must first be a fan of Grow Web Video’s Facebook page and be a certified 501(c)(3) organization. Entrants that are not a certified 501(c)(3) organization will be ineligible. Liking the Grow Web Video’s Facebook page does not automatically enter a charity in the contest. As previously stated, you have to submit an official entry.

For fans and voters, the voting period starts on June 16, 2013 and ends on June 30, 2013 at 11:59pm. In order to access the contest’s voting mechanism, powered by Woobox, simply “like” Grow Web Video’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/GrowWebVideo and click on the "Charity Contest" box. Each fan may cast one vote per day throughout the entire voting period. After the voting period, the charitable organization that has received the highest number of votes will be rewarded with a customized sixty-second animated explainer video from Grow Web Video.
