RETEL’s program identifies qualified veterans, without previous industry experience, to hire and train using the best and safest standards in the wireless industry.

Atlanta based RETEL Services purchased selected installation service assets owned and operated by ASI/CommScope in a transaction last month. RETEL has been a site acquisition and project management firm serving the wireless industry throughout the Southeast since 2007. Their recent expansion into a full turnkey service provider includes the addition of employee based engineering and construction.

The acquisition included the existing assets of the ASI Orlando, Florida office and a portion of ASI assets located at its Atlanta, Georgia office. The acquired employee base more than doubled the size of RETEL’s existing staff and greatly extends the service capabilities of the organization. “These additional tower crews are critical to the launch of our new construction division,” says Will Jacobs, Executive Vice President of RETEL. “The wireless industry has a shortage of construction and tower crews due to extensive project and upgrade work among the carriers. We feel very fortunate to have been chosen as the buyer,” Jacobs added.

CommScope’s National Director of Construction Services Larry Seper stated, “We are very pleased with the transaction to RETEL, a firm that shares our philosophy in fostering excellent customer service and quality within our industry.”

As a strong industry advocate, RETEL is also proud to announce the launch of a new hiring program for US military veterans. Kathy Kelly-Jacobs, President & CEO, commented with the following. “We have taken a unique and admirable approach to hiring tower technicians in today’s growing demand for crews. RETEL’s program identifies qualified veterans, without previous industry experience, to hire and train using the best and safest standards in the wireless industry. We offer a great compensation package providing benefits within a business atmosphere and company structure.”

RETEL performs services for carriers, tower companies and vendors within the wireless community. Their clients include leading industry companies such as AT&T, T-Mobile and American Tower. The company is a WBENC certified Women's Business Enterprise and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

CommScope is a global leader in communication networks, offering end-to-end solutions for building high-performing wired and wireless networks. The company is headquartered in Hickory, North Carolina.

Endeiro Capital Partners, LLC, a privately held diversified management and investment company with offices in Pensacola, Florida and Ridgeland, Mississippi, served as the acting agent for the transaction.
