Author of the new book, GOD IS A LAWYER TOO, Rev. Loving is no stranger to defying convention.
New York, New York (PRWEB) June 04, 2013
On Sunday, June 9, 2013, at 2:30 P.M., Reverend Cecilia Loving will team up with Drake Colley and his Jazz Quartet to co-create a unique approach to worship through jazz. Loving and Colley, who first met as lawyers practicing at top-notch New York City law firms, have co-created a new ministry that helps people transform themselves without the confines of traditional religion.
Author of the new book, GOD IS A LAWYER TOO, Rev. Loving is no stranger to defying convention. Her powerful story of a lawyer coming to terms with his ability to change his life by changing his consciousness -- is to fiction what jazz is to music: it uplifts the Spirit in a refreshing way. Rev. Loving's books are an important part of her ministry at SPIRITMUV to teach others to trust that they have the power to change their lives.
"Victory is my name," Rev. Loving preaches to Drake Colley's jazz tunes. By using music, audiences listen closer when she says that being made in the image and likeness of God is our divine inheritance. "We are not separate from the pure potential that calls us or the universe of infinite possibilities," Rev. Loving says as she witnesses her members move forward in a new way.
Joining SPIRITMUV to experience self-empowerment through jazz and spoken word is easy as the Unity Center is centrally located at 213 West 58th Street near Columbus Circle. The event is free, and as in every church gathering, the collection plate will be passed -- not as an obligation but as a tribute to a great time.
