Citizen's latest limited edition 'Eyes Collection' arrives at The Watch Hut.

They were first introduced to the world back in 2010 during the annual BaselWorld event, as a concept model, but this month will see the official launch of the much anticipated Citizen Eyes collection.

These collectors’ pieces are limited edition, and come in two classic colours – black and white. These truly beautiful gents watches are limited to just 250 black pieces and 250 white pieces worldwide, with only 10 of those available to the UK market.

These sort after watches are set to launch within the next few weeks, and the UK’s largest online watch retailer The Watch Hut have snapped up 2 of these precious pieces, one black and one white which will be available to purchase from the 31st May 2013.

These luxurious timepieces are priced at £3,000 and offer the buyer a chance to invest in a piece of innovate luxury that fuses together modern technology with the very best in design. The Citizen Eyes collection is sure to earn its place in timepiece history, so what makes this collection so special?

The Citizen Eyes collection has taken inspiration from traditional Japanese design and ascetics, using ‘Light and Shadow’ as its theme. The Eyes collection has been designed using natural lighting and the depth of shadow to define the dial. This innovative beauty utilises natural light to create the appearance of depth and movement, and not only that, the Eco Drive technology has been adapted to allow this technology loving watch to be powered by any light source, bringing together nicely the concept of using natural light to reiterate how light and shade affects our perception of dimensions.

The look of the watch is a very important factor to Citizen, and it certainly does not disappoint. The Eyes watch stands for clearness, sharpness and brilliance. The dial is dome shaped and boasts a robust, luxurious sapphire crystal construction, which is fashioned on a ‘botanical garden structure’ allowing the watch to absorb light from all 360 degrees. The strap is made from an exclusively developed liquid rubber that moulds beautifully to the wearers wrist.

Attention to detail has certainly been paid during the creation of this breath taking collection, it took 80 times longer to make due to the required polish finish and the individual ceramic parts. This limited edition collection is sure to fly off the shelves in no time, why not see for yourself the pure luxury, technology and design innovation that has been lavished upon these beautiful watches.
