Suno partners with Uniqlo in new collection

It seems Avenue 32 designers are everywhere at the moment, as Suno’s project with Uniqlo, follows Calla’s collaboration with Comptoir des Cotonniers last month.

Suno is best known at Avenue 32 for his high end tailoring and traditional techniques, infused with influences from both East and West.

We are again pleased to see his new collection where he has worked with New York based, Uniqlo, in an exciting new range launched last week.

Collaborating with the Japanese retailer is a first for Uniqlo, a brand famously loved by the likes of Michelle Obama, Rachel McAdams and Heidi Klum.

Fusing the two labels' heritages together, Uniqlo designers Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty designed an East-meets-West range of striped tops, printed summer dresses, and floral patterned jeans dubbed "Japanese Americana."

Speaking about the new collection, Beatty said: "We wanted to create something sweet, straightforward and easy.

“Something that felt distinctly American, and then mix it up in a Suno way."

The range is similar to Suno’s Avenue 32 collection, made up of silk fabrics, floral peplums, and striking patterns.
