We want teachers to feel that they are understood, valued, and even with the turmoil that is taking place in state governments, that someone can come alongside them and help plan for their future.

Finance for Teachers, Inc. is opening its door to teachers across the United States, offering services including a video planning series, hourly and comprehensive planning. With it’s founder, Dave Grant, CFP®, being married to a teacher, Finance for Teachers, Inc. believes it understands the planning and investment needs of teachers more succinctly than many other planning firms. Additionally, with Dave Grant’s financial plan including a TRS pension from the state of Illinois, he is well informed of the issues that this population faces as they plan ahead for retirement.
In a statement, Dave Grant said, “It is with pleasure that I launch Finance for Teachers following a six-year period serving all types of clients and families. I want to focus the rest of my career on assisting teachers and their families, and make sure that they know there is a company only interested in helping them. We want teachers to feel that they are understood, valued, and even with the turmoil that is taking place in state governments, that someone can come alongside them and help plan for their future. We hope to also come alongside local school districts and help educate their staff as well as provide services to teachers nationwide.”
Dave Grant, CFP® has been a Fee-Only planner for six years, serving clients from all walks of life. He is a nationally recognized planner for his work helping young planners develop and grow within the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
