Instagram celebrity, Ido Simyoni aka @ido8all, jetted into Sydney to show Kaplan International students how to share their experience of a lifetime through iPhone photography.
With over a hundred thousand followers on the online photo-sharing and social networking service, Ido shared his tips and deepest Instagram secrets with Kaplan’s Sydney students, encouraging them to share their once in a lifetime experience on the site.
After the indoor class on photo shooting techniques and how to get the most out of Instagram, the students got a practical lesson in Hyde Park, where Ido shed some light on what makes his photos stand out.
The Israeli’s photography expertise is known across the internet thanks to his social media movement “Stop the Terror”, which generated more than 11,000 pictures from all over the globe.
Ido was discovered by Kaplan International when he attended their English school in New York, where he shared his experience there on Instagram, using the #KaplanExperience hashtag.
The iphoneography classes were such a sensation, he was invited to give classes to students at Kaplan English Schools in the US, the UK and Australia.
“Ido has an amazing eye for the finer details in life,” said one attendee, “His class encourages you to capture reality in a different light and share your experience with the world,” reflecting Ido’s desire to “capture a story” with every shot.
Ido didn’t stop in just Sydney City on his Oceanic adventure – from there he cruised to the breezy coast of Manly Beach campus, before leaving to give the Adelaideans the hallowed master class.
Next stop was back east to the Melbourne College, before leaving the country to charm the Auckland audience at Kaplan’s language school in New Zealand.
”As I see it, Kaplan students are having an amazing experience when studying abroad. Getting to know people from across the globe in great locations is the best formula to tell a story and share it with others. Instagram is the best photo app to do that. I think they are lucky to get this opportunity and to be honest; I fell in love with Australia,” said Ido.
Thousands of students from Kaplan schools around the world are now posting their photos on Instagram, making it clear that the Kaplan Experience is an unforgettable one, and definitely one worth sharing.
