Hands-on poultry processing demonstration lead by Jonathan Coulimore and assisted by Eli Reiff. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain hands-on processing experience from slaughter to evisceration to chilling.
Jeff Mattocks will lead a pastured poultry health and nutrition presentation to help producers maximize the health of their flock and their profits.
Jonathan Coulimore will provide a feed processing and mixing overview.

About the presenters
Jonathan Coulimore, host and APPPA member, is a long time pastured poultry producer who grinds his own feed and processes on-farm. He distributes organic fertilizer, soil amendments, and animal nutrition products through Bee Rite Sales.
Presenter Jeff Mattocks, animal nutritionist at Fertrell, has been formulating and managing diets for livestock and poultry since 1996. Jeff is a current APPPA board member and previous APPPA President.
Jennie Watkins, APPPA Secretary, lives and farms on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state with her nephew Cody Taylor where they have a small laying flock of 100 hens that pasture with their flock of Shetland sheep, providing parasite control and manure for their market garden and orchard.
Eli Reiff has operated a custom processing facility in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania for over 30 years. Eli is a past APPPA president..
