Santa Rosa, California (PRWEB) June 06, 2013
Sonoma County is known as a foodie’s paradise and second only to its world-class wines is the award-winning food the area produces. The incredible products here are the result of miles and miles of the most fertile rich terrain, a perfect climate and innovative, industrious farmers and chefs. As we enter into harvest, Heirloom tomato festivals, and Wine Weekends, it’s time to celebrate everything epicurious in Sonoma County. The Wells Fargo Center for the Arts has created its 2013 – 2014 culinary VIP tour and experience with three of the nation’s most beloved food celebrities, Alton Brown, Ina Garten & Robert Irvine, to do just that. For tickets and more information please visit http://www.wellsfargocenterarts.org or call 707-546-3600.
Sonoma County cuisine is a very serious subject! Both local and visiting dedicated epicureans passionately discuss and delight in products found only here. Fittingly, each of the three Wells Fargo events is designed as an intimate, one- to-one experience for the guest to get up-close and personal with food experts.
The first of the three food-themed shows is: Alton Brown Live! Edible Inevitable Tour, on Friday, October 25. The star of Food Network’s “Good Eats” brings his quirky humor and culinary-science antics to the stage in a two-hour, family-friendly show. The show is a unique blend of stand-up comedy, food experimentation, talk show antics, multimedia lecture, and, for the first time, live music. Audience interaction and participation is encouraged. The VIP ticket includes a pre-show meet & greet with Alton Brown – only 100 VIP tickets are available. This is the first time Brown has hit the road with a live tour – and it promises to be energetic fun for all.
Next, the Center continues the food theme with Robert Irvine Live! on Friday, January 17. The star of the very popular “Restaurant: Impossible” and “Dinner: Impossible” will offer a high-energy multi-media and multi-sensory theatrical experience that provides a close-up view of a master at his craft, seamlessly combining music, video and culinary art. The VIP ticket includes pre-show cooking seminar with Robert Irvine - only 60 VIP tickets are available. Multiple cameras on the stage ensure you get a very close-up view of the master at work, and videos and music provide an experience unlike any other. Each segment is set up as a unique culinary challenge in an interactive show just like the challenging nature of Irvine’s popular TV shows.
Rounding out the series on Wednesday, April 2, is beloved chef and speaker Ina Garten, author and host of the Emmy-winning TV show “Barefoot Contessa,” in an insider’s view of her world and the pleasures of food cooked with love and passion. The VIP tickets include pre-show meet & greet and an autographed copy of her newest book - only 50 VIP tickets are available. Garten’s cookbooks have been best-sellers for years and her cooking show is one of the highest rated on Food Network today. Also, enjoy an interactive Q&A with Garten after the show.
