“OEMs, millwork customers and custom home builders who do ornamental work with PVC have pushed manufacturers for something thick enough to reduce lamination costs in the shop and the field,” says VERSATEX President John Pace.

A full ¼” thicker than any other product on the market, VERSATEX MAX ™ is available in nominal 48” widths and four standard lengths; 8’, 12’, 16’ and 18’. Additionally, VERSATEX MAX™ sheets feature the same tight cell structure, density, core consistency and best-in-industry +/- 1/32” thickness tolerance found in all other VERSATEX products.
This breakthrough technology is designed to save millwork shops and OEMs valuable time and money by eliminating, or greatly reducing, lamination steps during fabrication. It is ideal for custom mouldings, rail systems, pergolas, corbels or other decorative elements that require thicker cellular PVC.
“For years OEMs, millwork customers and custom home builders who do ornamental work with PVC have pushed manufacturers for something thick enough to reduce lamination costs in the shop and the field,” says VERSATEX President John Pace. “We pride ourselves on innovation, so we’re thrilled to have made 1 ½” sheet a practical reality.
“Once again, our R&D department has met the challenge of the market, and done so without compromising our standards for core consistency and tolerances. Millwork shops that have tested our new two-by products have been ecstatic with how easy it is to shape and mill.”
