Friday nights’ tornados and hail storms caused extensive damage to the St. Louis metro area. The EF3 tornado that touched down Friday night left a path of more than 32 miles and was 250 yards wide at its peak, the National Weather Service said Sunday night (NWS Storm Survey Link).
