In one week, Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI) will be bringing the Social Media Strategies Summit to NYC for a two-day educational and networking summit (June 12th and 13th) at the McGraw-Hill Conference Center.
The Summit will kick off with four carefully planned social media-focused pre-summit workshops on the morning of the 12th. The general summit begins in the afternoon of June 12th, with Kaelin Zawilinski, of Meredith Corporation discussing the use of social media through a case study of Better Homes and Gardens. The following sessions will include social media best practices from B2B and B2C companies featuring speakers from social brands such as McDonald’s Corp., Cisco, American Airlines, and Sony, and top agencies CommCreative and Edelman.
Day two of the conference will dig deeper into the social media world with keynotes from social media heavy-hitters, Peter Shankman and Frank Eliason (Citi), and will include pros from Wildfire, a divison of Google, ModCloth, Ben & Jerry’s, and Engage Sciences.
Other presentations will be from socially successful companies such as Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard, Sony, Mass Mutual, USO, SAP, IBM, Pinleague, HubSpot, and legal information from Greising Law.
GSMI’s SMSS is in its fourth year launching and executing successful events throughout the US and in the UK. The SMSS events educate social media and marketing professionals on emerging strategies and social tools, and provide insights from successful social media marketing campaigns through case study presentations.
Tickets are still on sale, but the event is filling up. Group discounts are available.
