Many researchers feel that even this number is a low estimate, because many people who experience panic attacks never receive the proper diagnosis and "live" with it, despite its horror and its constant terror.
Is it possible that anxiety or panic attacks come from past lives? Or does that awful, unstoppable panic feeling have it's root in our childhood? Dr. Georgina Cannon, regression therapist and author (http://www.georginacannon.com), who has treated thousands of anxiety ridden clients of the past 18 years explains that both are possible.
In her book Return Again, Georgina Cannon explains that sometimes anxiety can come from past lives, or what we perceive as past lives, but we can't over look the strong possibility that something in our young life triggered anxiety or panic.
“Often what can be seemingly a minor anxious moment for a young child, say first time they present show-and-tell at kindergarten, can compound over years into general anxiety around giving a presentation or a speech,” she explains. “Or even exacerbate into a general anxiety or panic attack.”
The anxiety or panic attack is not necessarily brought on by a recognizable circumstance, and it may remain a mystery to the person involved. These attacks come "out of the blue". At other times, excessive stress or other negative life conditions can trigger an attack.
When working with anxiety ridden or panic attack clients in the clinic, Georgina Cannon first works with them on their early life issues and gives them the MP# available on her website Anxiety Rx to listen to twice a day for 21 days. “This re-trains the subconscious memory to allow the early life pattern to re-align itself, creating emotional homeostatis, so that day to day issues won't trigger the attacks., and they can return to work having released the fear that the attacks will return. http://georginacannon.com/store/products/anxiety-rx-an-at-home-hypnosis-solution-mp3
However, if that doesn't work, it's likely that the issue comes from a previous lifetime, and in this case the client is facilitated into a regression journey to uncover and release the trigger(s). In addition they are referred to the self hypnosis script in the book Return Again, which allows them to continue the practice at home and spiritually release the anxiety.
Left untreated, panic or anxiety attacks can become totally debilitating. Creating havoc in the workplace and may loss of employment. With treatment, either through hypnosis, regression or behaviorial therapy, life will return to a manageable normal through all types of normal crisis – including traffic jams and normal work related stress!
