30 promising companies have been selected to compete for the LT Innovate Award 2013

The selection committee of the LT Innovate Summit 2013, taking place in Brussels, has announced its final decision. 30 companies have been selected to present their innovative products and solutions at the LT Showcasing Presentation Sessions and make chance of the LT Innovate Award 2013. For participating the event as a guest please enrol at the event website before 24 June 2013.

The annual LT Innovate Summit, taking place in Brussels on 26 and 27 June 2013, is getting closer and all involved partners are preparing on high speed. The 2nd edition of this event is aiming to combine key players of the Language Technology industry in the areas of speech, translation and intelligent content.

LT Innovate, as the forum for Europe’s Language Technology industry, gathers multiple companies developing products using intelligent content, speech and translation technologies as its members. All LT Innovate members are invited to join the LT CEO Summit at the event’s first day (26 June 2013). The CEO Summit will be led by the presentation of Rafael Achaerandio (IDC) with the title: “LT2013: Status and Potential of the European LT Markets”.

The 2nd day of the event is planned to offer a mixture of interesting sessions such as panel discussions, focusing for example on the European Language Clouds as well as on the match of supply and demand. On top of that, sessions are scheduled under the theme “Towards the Multilingual Digital Single Market”. Additionally to key players from the Language Technology industry, various decision makers from the European Parliament and Commission will be present.

The event will culminate with the designation and celebration of the LT-Innovate Award Winners at the Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner on 27 June 2013. The event will host in total five showcasing presentation sessions during which six companies each will use their chance to present their company and innovative Language Technology solutions before an expert jury.

To ensure the presence of exceptional high quality companies at the showcasing presentation sessions, a selection committee has reviewed all candidates which applied to present at the LT Innovate Summit. The selection process has been based on criteria such as innovation & technology excellence, business potential and team experiences.

More than 55 companies have used the opportunity and to go through the selection process out of which 30 outstanding companies have been selected to participate at the event.
