The United States is the number one destination for students from India and enrollment of students at the undergraduate level continues to grow. Responding to a surge of interest in American undergraduate education, QS announces that it has redesigned its QS World University Tour to include high school visits and expanded student interview opportunities for universities. To better accommodate the school calendar in India, the tour has also shifted dates and will run from August 2 to August 12. It will visit the key undergraduate markets of Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.

Manya surveyed its many high school connections to identify the early tour dates, viewing early August as an ideal time to engage students in the preparation needed to study abroad.

A number of these clients have confirmed that early August is ideal for their recruiting efforts as the worldwide calendar of fairs, expos and events and is already over scheduled during the normal fall season. St. John's is one of 36 American university participants in the QS Advance service. A growing number of European and Australian universities are also looking to QS and Manya for assistance in India.
The QS World University Tour in India will be comprehensive and include high school visits, mini-fairs and chances for selected families to meet recruiters directly. A university fair that targets undergraduate-bound students will highlight each city visit. They are:
- Sunday, August 4 – Delhi
- Tuesday, August 6 – Hyderabad
- Thursday, August 8 – Chennai
- Sunday, August 11 – Bangalore
The company reports that further detail on fair venues and school visits will be announced shortly. Fairs are open to colleges and universities worldwide and the number of institutions will be limited to 25.
