“Clips does an amazing job of celebrating creativity and community involvement among different groups of people, both cyclists and non-cyclists alike,” said Eric Rogers, Executive Director of BikeWalkKC.

New Belgium Brewing is bringing its beer-toting, film-traveling, nonprofit-benefiting show to Kansas City on Thursday, June 6, at Theis Park, 48th and Rockhill Road on Brush Creek, KCMO, at 7:00 p.m. for an evening of entertaining short films and beer tasting to benefit BikeWalkKC.

New Belgium’s Clips Beer and Film Tour is a 21 U.S. city tour that shows amateur films to raise money for local non-profits. Kansas City will be the second city to view approximately 20 of the brewing company’s newly selected films, which include comedy shorts, cycling tales, and short environmental documentaries.

Eric Rogers, Executive Director of BikeWalkKC, says events like the New Belgium Clips Beer and Film Tour help foster community connectedness in Kansas City. “Clips does an amazing job of celebrating creativity and community involvement among different groups of people, both cyclists and non-cyclists alike,” Rogers said.

In addition to watching fan-made films, guests can sample up to 16 of New Belgium’s most creative beer offerings, including selections from the Lips of Faith series. Entrance is free and entire families are welcome. There will be a charge for beverages. Last year in Kansas City, approximately 1,000 people came to the show, raising more than $8,800 for BikeWalkKC.
