Linkage Names Toyota Financial Services’ George Borst and Lebenthal & Company’s Alexandra Lebenthal 2013 Outstanding CEOs

Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute™ recently announced that George Borst and Alexandra Lebenthal will receive the inaugural Outstanding CEO Award, recognizing them for their deep commitment to advancing women leaders. Taking place November 11-14, 2013 in San Francisco, the Women in Leadership Institute is designed to accelerate the succession and development of high-potential emerging women leaders through skills-based learning, peer connection, and focused on-going support.

Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute™, a high-impact, immersive learning program for high-potential women, recently announced that George Borst and Alexandra Lebenthal will receive the inaugural Outstanding CEO Award.

George Borst began his career with Toyota in 1985 and held a number of management positions at Toyota Motor Sales, Inc. prior to being named President and CEO of Toyota Financial Services. A leader in diversity and inclusion efforts at Toyota, Mr. Borst was recognized with the 2011 CEO Diversity Leadership Award presented by Diversity Best Practices.

Alexandra Lebenthal joined Lebenthal & Company in 1988 and became President and CEO in 1995 at the age of 31. In 1999, she was named one of New York’s 100 most influential women by Crain’s New York Business, one of the Top 50 Women in Wealth Management in 2009 by Wealth Manager Magazine and one of Crain’s New York Top 25 Women Owned Business list in 2012.

The award winners will be honored at the Women in Leadership Institute, taking place November 11-14, 2013 in San Francisco. This high-impact immersive learning experience is designed to accelerate the succession and development of high-potential emerging women leaders through skills-based learning, peer connection, and focused on-going support.
