SpinGreen is excited to announce our partnership with the village of East Hills! East Hills is taking the initiative and becoming one of the first villages on Long Island to place clothing recycling bins in public areas to promote textile recycling among their residents. East Hills is helping keep clothes out of landfills while simultaneously reducing their sanitation costs.
We want to congratulate the village of East Hills on being a leader among the growing concern for textile recycling. They are leading the way among their neighbors and not only helping the environment, but helping the needy. All usable clothing benefits the charity partners of SpinGreen, such as American Red Cross; GMHC; and Madison Avenue Boys and Girls Club; and the things that are torn, stained, or shoes missing a pair, are recycled into cool eco-products.
Please take a look at http://www.spingreen.com to learn more ways to help and take initiative in the textile recycling movement. Also be sure to check out http://www.villageofeasthills.org to keep up to date with the cool things and events they're doing.
Thank you and Congratulations again, East Hills!
