Having gotten a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in social work, Smith has worked with women from all backgrounds and walks of life. It is her hope that all women such as these can be lifted up and inspired by her stories.

Heather Smith was born during World War II in Richmond, Viriginia. Moving often, she developed a deep compassion for lonely people and began writing letters of encouragement. Having worked at many different jobs, she eventually earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in social work. She currently works in prayer ministry and lay counseling at her local church.
