A new feature story licensing model was announced today by Gerber Global Media Content, a collaboration between zapaimages and PhotoBizCoach Beate. To service the exploding digital world, the company will be packaging image, video, and text for easy content inclusion for all things digital.

Livio Gerber (zapaimages) and PhotoBizCoach Beate Chelette are announcing the launch of Gerber Global Media Content, an image licensing company dedicated to packaged photo and text stories for digital media outlets.

What exactly is Gerber Global Media Content? It is about far more than Editorial usage of features and includes, Advertising, Websites, eReaders, smart phones and tablets. Gerber Global Media Content offers packaged content ready to use for all things digital.

Mobile traffic already makes up 13% of total web traffic. 50% of adults use a smart phone and 29% have tablets or eReaders. Two billion computers are connected and six billion mobile connections are in use worldwide, a number expected to grow to 15 billion by 2015. Accordingly, the demand for web content and feature stories across all genres has increased dramatically and will continue to do so.

Many photographers and authors have stories that can’t be properly utilized because most traditional licensing companies require long-term contracts and continuous feed of stories. This loophole has now been closed by Gerber Global Media Content by offering compelling content to a broad variety of users across all platforms.
