SVSi’s Networked AV N-Series

Share Article

SVSi’s N-Series offers three product families providing the ultimate in price, performance, and flexibility.

SVSi is pleased to announce a major expansion to its Networked AV product line. Based on the remarkable success of our legacy encoders and decoders, SVSi is expanding its video-over-IP products to switch and distribute video and audio over any network segment or link.  The N-Series product line consists of the N1000, N2000, and N3000 encoders and decoders - each tailored to specific network requirements and acquisition cost.

The N1000 product is an in-room solution with a fixed bandwidth of 880-Mbps and an acquisition cost that competes with smaller presentation switchers.  The N2000 product is a 10-200 Mbps LAN solution backwardly compatible with SVSi's current generation JPEG2000 products and includes input and output scaling, POE, and enhanced network capabilities common to the full N-Series suite.  N3000 switches and distributes H.264 streaming video with exceptional HD quality and bandwidth between 32-kpbs and 10-Mbps.

As SVSi President, Andy Whitehead, puts it - "Video compression for network distribution adds both complexity and cost - higher compression leads to higher acquisition cost.  SVSi products have always focused on preserving the video fidelity required for the ProAV market.  I am excited to be able to offer a full suite of solutions for in-room, LAN, and WAN applications that provide choices for our integrators at unsurpassed video quality no matter the network qualifications. SVSi's full range of network-attached accessories like digital video recorders, windowing processors, transcoders, and controllers will be available for each N-series product line.  A major design goal was that a single control layer could seamlessly control a mix of N-1000, N-2000, and N-3000 encoders and decoders on one installation.  This tight integration sets SVSi apart as the premier Networked AV provider."
