Sunnyland Mills Introduces Organic Farro Bulgur to its Line of Ancient Grains

100% whole grain Organic Farro Bulgur is a quick cooking U.S. #1 grade hard Emmer grain used in a variety of nutritionally balanced food products. This Ancient Grain is high in dietary fiber, protein, rich in complex B vitamins and low on the glycemic index. It is manufactured under proprietary technology by mechanically harvesting, triple cleaning, parboiling, drying, cracking and sifting to uniform particle sizes customized to meet specific functional properties. It is light reddish brown in color, with particle sizes in #1 Fine and #3 Coarse grinds. There are no preservatives or additives in Organic Farro Bulgur and it is vegan and Non-GMO. When cooked, the product has a creamy texture similar to Arborio rice that is a perfect ingredient in pilafs, cold salads, breads, frozen side dishes and soups.
