Most people complain about the massive revenues of big oil companies – this partnership has laid an enormous path to harness those funds for bettering humanity.

The RACE organization signed into a joint venture agreement with Grand Munaie Invest Oil Trading FZE (GM Invest). Together, the two organizations have developed hundreds of projects focused not only on the improvements that address quality of life, but develop a sustainable culture of ownership and stewardship around the outcomes of those projects. By leveraging the large cash flow of the petroleum industry, coupled with RACE’s knowledge and experience, this joint venture has already begun the deployment of humanitarian projects in Cambodia and the United States. “Our family has always believed that a good percentage of our profits should be used to help improve the quality of life for those in need. This new alliance leverages the RACE NGO to ensure we do the right things for humanity,” said Mr. Firooz Zia Khoshkoo, Managing Director of GM Invest.
Representatives from both organizations recently finished a month-long planning session in Cambodia, where they outlined over 1,200 projects to be deployed over the next three years. Among the highest of priorities for the projects was the focus on:
- Vocational training and business development/ownership
- Primary, Secondary and advanced education opportunities
- Improved healthcare, facilities and safety
- Employment for millions of new workers
- Providing clean water and food production
- Development of modern infrastructure and housing
- Design, training and ownership of international travel assets (airports/airlines/ports)
- Creation and expansion of tourism opportunities
- Knowledge transfer and ownership for each project delivered
Leveraging RACE’s fifteen plus years of process improvement experience, the two organizations built a project portfolio focused on rapid, sustainable results. The projects selected will result in a $150 billion blueprint for deployment to be used at over a dozen other countries around the world. “Most people complain about the massive revenues of big oil companies – this partnership has laid an enormous path to harness those funds for bettering humanity,” said Mr. Robert L. Fioto, RACE Chairman and CEO.
The new joint venture has already rallied massive financial support from countries and independent investors around the world to begin the deployment of their humanitarian programs. “We would like to prove that an alliance formed by harnessing the financial power of big corporation and heart/dedication of NGOs can truly deliver sustainable and safe results decoupled from bureaucratic nightmares,” said Mr. Kirk Nicholas, RACE’s Chief Operating Officer. The progress on all programs is scheduled to be published on a joint website to be announced in July of this year.
