Multilanguage Free Version of R-Group Now Released in 21 Countries.

R-group Co., Ltd., an in-house management system vendor headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and headed by Representative Director Syoki Fujiwara, has significantly renewed its free groupware R-GROUP. Over 2,400 companies in Japan have adopted R-GROUP for multi-language support, timeline function, and stakeholder function. The free version was released on June 7th in 21 countries.
Business SNS for linking businesses and individuals in the world

Global activities over multiple countries are essential for every business in today’s corporate market. Taking this idea into consideration, R-GROUP, as a free groupware program, has been developed to enable businesses to engage in global activities easily and inexpensively without being restricted by language barriers and geographical locations.
Initially, R-GROUP was developed as a management system for internal use only and was then disclosed in Japan only in 2009. Now, thousands of companies are using R-GROUP including government organizations and first section listed corporations. The program does not restrict the number of users who can access it at any time. In addition, R-GROUP has rapidly increased the number of its users due, in large part, to the fact that its functions are available for free on PCs and smart phones.
Multilanguage support and newly added functions
The renewed free version of R-GROUP is being released in 21 countries throughout Asia, Europe and both North and South America. The newly added timeline and stakeholder functions have grown R-GROUP into a business SNS that associates businesses with individuals organically. In addition, R-GROUP has enabled businesses all over to instantly use schedule application and file sharing services, as well as email and bulletin board services for free.
The R-GROUP program was originally designed at Harvard University by R-group’s current Representative Director Syoki Fujiwara. The program has been continuously developed at institutions in Tokyo and Silicon Valley. To enrich and expand the communication between users, free call and chat functions are currently under development to be implemented this summer. Extending service areas, adding functions, and improving customer satisfaction are constant tasks that are being tackled daily.
