June Survey: What Does an HPV or Herpes ‘Cure’ Really Mean?; polyDNA Explains this Term

In its survey for the month of June, polyDNA found that many people had questions and were confused about what it means to be ‘cured’ of a herpes or HPV infection. polyDNA answered these questions in a new section on its website.

polyDNA’s monthly survey, taken during June 2013, showed that many people are confused about the meaning of the term ‘cure’ as in ‘herpes cure’ or ‘HPV cure’. Because of this confusion, polyDNA decided to add a new section to its website that answers these questions.

The new section will include selections of the following text.

To start with, it is beneficial to understand that infection with herpes, or another virus, is “caused by the presence of a virus in the body. … The vast majority of human viral infections can be effectively fought by the body's own immune system...”(Medterms.com) (1)

“Skin, the largest body organ, provides both a physical and a chemical barrier against the outside world. The skin forms a protective layer that completely wraps around the body, shielding blood vessels, nerves, muscles, organs, and bones.” (humanillness.com) (2) Skin is normally the body’s first line of defense against viruses.

However, both herpes and HPV are viruses that have learned how to penetrate this first line of defense. In fact, the CDC says that these viruses are transmitted through “…skin that looks normal.” (3)

Think of two armies, one is trying to protect a piece of land, and the other is trying to invade and conquer. The protecting army is the immune system, and the invading army is the virus. If the immune system army is capable of preventing the virus army from establishing a post, or a "beach head,” on the immune system's territory, then the immune system has won.

Another case is where the invading viral army is able to conquer a small piece of the land and bring it under its control. Scientists call this case viral latency. Most of the land is free of foreign soldiers, but from time to time, some foreign soldiers sneak out of the post and attack local targets. The observed damages that these foreign soldiers inflict on local targets, or the observed fights in these local targets between the two armies, is what the medical profession call symptoms. A symptom is no more than a local scrimmage between these two armies.

A collection of one or more symptoms is called a disease.

The dictionary defines a cure as a treatment method that brings about a “recovery from a disease” or “remission of signs or symptoms of a disease especially during a prolonged period of observation.” (Merriam-Webster.com) (4)

Using our two army example, when the immune system army is able to destroy the foreign soldiers attacking local targets, the symptoms disappear. Such an event is called a recovery. Any treatment method that helps the immune system destroy the foreign soldiers during local scrimmages is a cure.

One such treatment method, or ‘cure’, is a vaccine. A vaccine is a “preparation of killed microorganisms, living attenuated organisms, or living fully virulent organisms that is administered to produce or artificially increase immunity to a particular disease.” (Merriam-Webster.com) (5) In other words, a vaccine is a treatment method that boosts the immune system and helps it recognize and destroy the foreign soldiers.

There are other treatment methods, such as drugs, for instance Acyclovir also called Valtrex, and dietary supplements, such as Gene-Eden-VIR. These treatment methods boost the immune system and help it eliminate the foreign, viral soldiers from the body.

Some treatment methods offer complete immunity. This means that they boost the immune system to 100% efficiency, and help the body eliminate (or clear) all viruses of a specific type. If there is no disease agent (virus) in the body, that person is said to be ‘cured.’ There are no viruses left and no symptoms.

However, sometimes, the treatment method does not boost the immune system back to 100% efficiency. In these cases, some viruses still remain in the body. If the immune system is strong enough to hold the foreign soldiers within their isolated post, there won’t be any scrimmages, that is, no symptoms and no disease. When this happens, that person is also said to be ‘cured.”

polyDNA is a biotechnology company that develops dietary supplements using the unique scientific method developed by Dr. Hanan Polansky, which is based on Computer Intuition.

In addition to his unique scientific method, Dr. Polansky published the highly acclaimed scientific discovery, called Microcompetition with Foreign DNA.

The discovery explains how foreign DNA fragments, and specifically, DNA of latent viruses, cause most major diseases. polyDNA developed Gene-Eden-VIR (), an antiviral natural remedy that helps the immune system kill latent viruses.
