Charies lost her permanent job in 2008 and has been working on a temporary basis as a contract worker for local employment agencies. Charies’s goal is to find a permanent job in the IT industry. According to Charies, “I haven’t been able to land any permanent jobs due to my lack of education and skills. I am intelligent, funny and eager to learn. I am responsible and take my career change very seriously.” The Sarder Scholarship is awarded on a monthly basis to a qualified applicant looking to advance their career in IT. The $2500 scholarship award can be used toward live online classes or any regular classroom course. The scholarship is named after the company’s co-founder who is an ardent believer in the need for lifelong learning.
