New York, New York (PRWEB) June 05, 2013
Officials with The Creativity Workshop announced today that it will host an additional workshop on August 20-23.
The Creativity Workshop (http://www.creativityworkshop.com/) has workshops scheduled in New York for June 7 – 10, which is sold out, August 16 – 19, and August 20 – 23.
Ceci Glusman, spokesman for The Creativity Workshop, said the newly added August 20 – 23 Creativity Workshop will meet for three hours per day, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The Weekend Intensive Workshops, Glusman noted, will meet from 10 AM to 5 PM each day with a lunch break. Class will take place at the Meta Center, located in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, on West 29th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.
Glusman explained that The Creativity Workshop in New York City will help participants become more creative in their personal and professional life.
“The creativity training we provide uses the tools of creative writing, memoir, art, photography, storytelling, mapmaking, and guided visualization,” Glusman stressed, before adding, “Participants come from many different countries and professional fields, including business, education, psychology, the sciences, and the arts.”
Rita Foley, Former President of MeadWestvaco; PetSmart and Dresser-Rand board member, said she strongly recommends the workshop in New York.
“In an amazingly short period and for a small investment you walk away with ideas on how to free oneself from rigid and restrained thinking and how to allow creativity to flow into many aspects of work,” Foley said.
Glusman went on to point out that whether participants want to visit art galleries, go to a dance performance, see a Broadway show, browse through one-of-a-kind shops, explore different neighborhoods, or simply people-watch and soak in the city's unique energy, New York has something for everyone.
“While the techniques we explore in our creativity course will sharpen your appreciation of New York, the sounds and sights of this exhilarating city will fuel your creative work in class,” Glusman said.
