To raise awareness for Internet Safety Month this June, uKnowKids is releasing a series of online resources to educate parents and children about lurking dangers as well as preventative and proactive methods to stay safe online.

As part of its ongoing mission to educate parents about Internet and mobile safety issues and trends, uKnowKids, the world’s leading Parental Intelligence System, announced today the planned release of several unique online resources in accord with National Internet Safety Month.

uKnowKids understands that a critical part of keeping kids safe online is teaching parents and children Internet and social networking safety at a young age.

On Thursday, June 6th, uKnowKids will be releasing an eBook entitled, “Digital Dangers and Strategies during the Lazy Days of Summer” that will help parents recognize online risks that are more prevalent in the summer months when children are out of school. A SlideShare with the same name will also be released on the following Thursday, June 13th.

uKnowKids interviewed some of the most prominent Internet safety experts and leaders in the industry and assembled an infographic with the most important safety tips from each of them. This infographic will be released on Tuesday, June 18th. In addition to these educational pieces, uKnowKids is running a giveaway throughout the month of June. Ten winners will receive a year-free Premier subscription to uKnowKids valued at $120. uKnowKids pairs data analytics and notifications about trends, usage and dangerous activities with enhanced social, mobile and location monitoring capabilities.
