“Postcard mailing costs have been slashed from a minimum of 48¢ per piece to 28¢ per piece—a savings of 20¢ per piece.

“This is a whopping 42 percent price cut, making it a very attractive channel for marketers who have previously rejected solo direct mail because of the high cost of postage,” Walters added.

The results are fast and dramatic. Consumers receive the mailing in 48-72 hours, leading Regency Theatres based in Agora Hills, CA, to send out three campaigns in less than 60 days to drive traffic to their locations.

“The quality has just been great,” said Heidi Garcia, Marketing Operations Manager for Regency Theatres. “The postcards always look fantastic, are high quality and, this low cost marketing program does save us on postage, so it fits perfectly with our budget. Plus, its 100 percent turnkey, all print and entry into the postal stream are included,” she added.

Garcia noted that, while it is too early to track results, she is seeing a lift in response for one location with a new $5 Tuesday offer. Regency Theatres is using Synergy’s new program in several locations.

Native New Yorker, a national restaurant chain, has used the new program twice in the past 45 days to increase diners in their Arizona locations.
