Affectiva, the global leader in emotion measurement technology, announced today that as part of its continued focus on digital, media and market research, Nick Langeveld has been appointed as interim CEO. David Berman will transition from his role as CEO and will assume a new position as chairman of the board of directors.
Nick Langeveld joined Affectiva in 2011 as VP of Business Development, where he managed the company’s strategic partnerships and channel development. Prior to joining Affectiva, Nick served as VP of Strategic Business Development at Nielsen Online and Vice President and CFO of BuzzMetrics; which was later sold to Nielsen in 2007. Nick began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.S. from Villanova University.
