Original All-Lawyer Musical Comedy to Benefit Law-Related Charities in Houston.

Bridgeway Software, the most recommended provider of legal services management solutions, today announced that it has signed on as a key sponsor for the Houston Bar Association's (HBA) annual fund raising musical event "Night Court 2013: Law of Ages/Feel the Energy". The musical comedy is written, performed, staffed and coordinated entirely by lawyers, and has raised more than half a million dollars since its inception for causes such as the Houston Area Women’s Center Children’s Court Service, the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program, STAR Family Intervention Court Program, the STAR Drug Program and Habitat for Humanity. “We are so grateful to be a beneficiary of Night Court. Funds received from the production will help ensure that victimized children and their families have information and support through the Criminal Justice System and no child will go to court alone,” said Pam Hobbs, Manager of Children’s Court Services.

Each year the HBA welcomes an ever-growing family of lawyers, supporters, underwriters, volunteers and audience members who come together to laugh with (and at) the performers, while contributing funds to support the charities of the Houston Bar Foundation. Recognized as both a tremendous accomplishment and a unique entertainment experience, this year's musical comedy production will explore global energy issues from the origin of fossil fuels from dinosaurs in "Houstone" through the current issues surrounding climate change, global warming and energy exploration. Night Court 2013 will play at the Wortham Center from June 12-15 and all proceeds from the event will benefit legal charities in the Houston area.

“The lawyers of Houston’s 2013 Night Court show are honored to have Bridgeway as a new sponsor to our show. With their generous donation we are able to help more worthy local legal charities like the Houston Area Women’s Center Children’s Court Services Program," said Marty Thompson, Senior Legal Counsel, Hess Corporation.

“We are thrilled to be a sponsor of the Houston Bar Association's Night Court and to participate in such a worthwhile event,” said Pat O’Donnell, owner and CEO of Bridgeway Software and sponsors of the Night Court event. "Giving back to the community has always been a priority for our company and we look forward to helping the HBA attain its fund raising goals and, in turn, help them to meet the needs of our local charities."
