Food4Patriots is suggesting that people stockpile good food now for an emergency because prices for fruits, vegetables and other healthy foods are rising significantly.

Those who order one of the Food4Patriots Emergency Kits will also receive four reports: “The Top 10 Items Sold Out After Crisis,” “The Water Survival Guide,” “The Survival Garden Guide” and “How to Cut Your Grocery Bills in Half.”

According to a U.S. News & World Report article from June 3, 2013, prices for healthy foods are increasing at a much higher rate than prices for unhealthy foods in America, contributing to a rapidly rising obesity rate.

The report states that, according to the Federal Reserve, the prices for fruits and vegetables are rising faster than the rate of inflation. The prices for cereals and bakery products are also rising, but not at the same rate as those for fruits and vegetables, while prices for sugar and sweets are showing the least amount of growth.

Food4Patriots, the supplier of emergency food suitable for long-term storage, survival and emergency preparedness, recommends that people stock up on affordable, healthy foods. The company believes that an unanticipated crisis could result in even higher food prices, food shortages and poorer food quality. Food4Patriots will be launching soon to help people be prepared for an emergency situation.

Among the nutritious foods that will be part of the Food4Patriots’ 72-Hour Emergency Kit, 4-Week Emergency Kit and 3-Month Emergency Kit are:

  •     Mountain Man Granola
  •     Apple Orchard Oatmeal
  •     Granny’s Homestyle Potato Soup
  •     Blue Ribbon Cheesy Chicken Rice
  •     Ol’ 49ers Hearty Chili
  •     Creamy Beef Stroganoff
  •     Frank’s Five-Star Minestrone.

Those who order one of the Food4Patriots Emergency Kits will also receive four reports: “The Top 10 Items Sold Out After Crisis,” “The Water Survival Guide,” “The Survival Garden Guide” and “How to Cut Your Grocery Bills in Half.”
