Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Neil Oberfeld Appointed Chair-Elect of Anti-Defamation League Board of Directors

Neil Oberfeld, real estate shareholder with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, has been appointed chair-elect of the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Mountain States Regional Board of Directors. Additionally, litigation associate Adam Ross was appointed as a member of the board. Oberfeld and Ross are both based out of the firm’s Denver office.

Oberfeld first joined ADL’s Mountain States Regional Board in 1991, and has been recognized by ADL nationally with the Daniel Ginsberg Leadership Award and locally with the Fred Silverberg Young Leadership Award. He co-chairs ADL’s regional Development Committee and serves as a member of ADL’s National Commission.

Oberfeld’s community involvement spans across industries and organizations including serving on the following boards and committees:

Member of the Law Conference Planning Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers 2013 conference.

Chair of the Governor's Committee on Community Service/Serve Colorado.

Trustee of the Rose Community Foundation and chair of the Foundation’s Jewish Life Committee.

A member of the firm’s Real Estate practice, Oberfeld concentrates on business and real estate transactions, including acquisition, development, leasing, finance and investment as well as other areas. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned his law degree at the Boston University School of Law.

Ross joined Greenberg Traurig’s Denver office in the Fall of 2012 and is a member of the Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on complex commercial issues in various industries, including Big 4 accounting firms, Fortune 500 corporations, insurance brokers and telecommunications companies. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
