Music Shifts is a new website created by SOCAN award winning composers and designed to do more than entertain audiences. The unique website – MusicShifts.com – is about real life experiences put to original music to help bring about change and improved well-being at the individual and wider global levels. The first song to be released in the Music Shifts Song Series is entitled "With an Angel’s Touch." Written by internationally acclaimed composers, Cori Ashley and Ed Franks, the song "With an Angel’s Touch" details a personal story of unexpected loss that is hard to accept but that offers invaluable insight about living. The experience is one many people can relate to and audiences have ached over throughout the centuries.
Often new songs are released in the conventional sense without much background on how or why the song was developed. The Music Shifts website offers a unique opportunity to read about the real story behind each song and to explore the insight and gifts of each experience.
The Music Shifts Series will launch a new song with background story every few weeks until September.
