More tickets to see the U.S. National Soccer Team went on sale today, kicking search traffic for seats into high gear, said Felina Martinez at BuyAnySeat.com. The mens' team, six games into their 18-game schedule, just released seats to their match with Guatemala in San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium on July 5, 2013.

The U.S. National Soccer Team plays in Seattle, Sandy, San Diego, Portland, East Hartford, Columbus and Kansas City this summer and fall.

The U.S. National Mens' Soccer Team opened this year’s 18-game schedule in January with a tie against Canada in Houston, Texas. In February, they lost in Honduras 1-2, but rebounded to slip past Costa Rica 1-0 on a snowy March night in Denver, Colorado.

Next they tied Mexico 0-0 in Mexico, and bowed to Belgium 2-4 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. And just recently, they glided by Germany 4-3 in an International Friendly (IF) match at RFK Stadium in Washington D.C.. The match also marked the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Soccer Federation.

Tickets went on sale today to the team’s upcoming IF match against Guatemala at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California on July 5, 2013. The team played Jamaica in a World Cup Qualifier last night in Kingston, with results not available before press time.

“Soccer is very popular and getting a lot of hits, especially in the weeks prior to an upcoming game,” said Felina Martinez at online ticket marketplace BuyAnySeat.com. “Most, if not all, matches sell out.”

“That’s why we’re proud to offer fans the most complete and continually updated listing of sports tickets online, with a worry-free guarantee to protect their purchase,” said Martinez.

“To access the selection of cheap U.S. Soccer Team tickets we have available, fans can go to BuyAnySeat.com and search for U.S. National Soccer Team – then select their tickets,” said Martinez.

After the match with Jamaica, the U.S. has 11 games left on the schedule. They play Panama at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington on June 11, Honduras at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah on June 18; and Guatemala at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California on July 5, 2013.

The team’s next opponent is Belize at Jeld-Wen Field in Portland, Oregon on July 9; Cuba at Rio Tinto on July 13; Costa Rica at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn. on July 17; Bosnia and Herzegovina overseas on August 13; Costa Rica in Costa Rica on September 6; Mexico at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on September 10; Jamaica at Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas on October 11 and Panama in Panama on October 15. All of the last four matches are World Cup Qualifiers.

The United States Mens’ National team has reached the World Cup only seven times in the past 100 years. Out of nine shows, the team captured their best ever finish in the inaugural World Cup in 1930, when they finished third. After competing in the 1950 World Cup, the US National team did not qualify for the next 40 years. The sport began to gain in popularity in the late 80’s and early 90’s, starting a trend that would send the National team to six straight World Cup competitions.
