Evans Adhesive Ups Its Game; Expands Resources in Sales and Service

Investments in marketing and customer service technologies to advance competitive position.

Evans Adhesive Corporation, one of America’s leading manufacturers of industrial adhesives, today announced a significant investment in its website, customer relationship management system and marketing outreach technology. To help design, implement and support these new developments, Evans has partnered with The Pursuit Group (TPG), an Ohio-based professional services firm specializing in marketing automation tools, content development, and sales funnel management.

The first step of the project is an upgrade of the Evans website (http://www.evansadhesive.com) to include richer product information and improved capabilities for capturing visitor behavior as well as lead-profile information. “Like many manufacturing businesses, the adhesive space is hotly contested so we must continuously upgrade marketing and sales practices to advance our competitive position,” said Rusty Thompson, Evans’ President and CEO. “In particular, we needed to improve our visibility with customers along with all phases of the sales cycle so we can manage the acquisition and retention of customers more effectively. Fortunately, we found a highly experienced and capable partner locally—The Pursuit Group—to help us do just that,” Thompson concluded.

In addition to the website improvement, TPG is assisting Evans with its outreach programs to improve lead generation, prospect nurturing and sales cycle times. As part of this process TPG’s technical team has implemented Pardot, a popular marketing automation software tool, and integrated it with salesforce.com, the leading customer relationship management system. This new marketing intelligence infrastructure provides sales representatives with an end-to -end view of all prospect website interactions and ensures that sales efforts are focused on those prospects most ready to buy.
