Bob Wiedenmann Receives Builder of the Year Award

Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Haven County’s highest honor awarded to Wallingford Builder.

The Home Builders and Remodelers Association (HBRA) of New Haven County chose Sunwood Development’s president, Bob Wiedenmann, as the 2013 builder of the year. Bob accepted the award at the association’s annual membership meeting in May.

With the builder of the year award, the HBRA of New Haven County recognizes a member who has made a commitment of time and talent through committee and program participation that helps strengthen the association for all its members. The builder who wins the award “represents the highest level of integrity and honesty in the home building industry.”

Bob Wiedenmann is a longtime member of HBRA of New Haven County and has served as the association’s president in 1994, 1995 and 2009. He last received the builder of the year award in 1994 and the outstanding member of the year award in 1996. Bob has also received the Charles J. LoDolce award—the highest award given by the HBRA of Connecticut.
