StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm has now been out for three months, and the game’s player base continues to grow. Old players interests have been rekindled with the new expansion for their beloved game, as well as new players are drawn in due to the increased promotion.
The expansion picks up where StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty left off, Heart of the Swarm puts players in the shoes of Sarah Kerrigan (former zerg Queen of Blades), who has been turned human by Jim Raynor. Players will be fighting in order to first reassemble the zerg swarm and hopefully change it as well.
Of course where StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm really shines is in the ever popular multiplayer featured in SC2. Currently Heart of the Swarm is in a constant battle with League of Legends for the number one spot on popular player stream hosting websites such as twitch.
Every player is looking to improve their game, and many top ranked players have offered to lend a helping hand. For example, Osiris has developed his own personal guide called the Osiris Method, which is currently the most popular, as well as detailed StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm guide available.
Osiris’s guide has five main criteria points: Effectiveness, Steady Advancement, Fast, All Skill Levels, and Effective for all three races as well as Patch Independent so it’s always up to date. This all rolls into giving players a quick, effective way to steadily progress through the leaderboards from any skill level in SC2: HotS, regardless of their in-game race or recent patches.
SC2: Heart of the Swarm features 20 new missions available to play through in its campaign mode, giving campaign lovers plenty of action. Multiplayer receives a hefty update with seven new multiplayer units being added to the game, leaving all online gamers with much to re-master.

It was obvious that StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm would be a fantastic success after the impact Wings of Liberty had on the community. Now as the game continues to grow, it is anyone’s guess as to where SC2 is going to peak.
