Cheap Website Designs anticipates that Ecommerce would get a strong boost as a result of this revolutionary new feature introduced by Google.

According to a report on May 15, 2013 on CBS Local, Google users would now be able to actually transfer cash though attachment allowing them to make person-to-person payments online with consummate ease.

Till recently, Gmail users could only transfer large files through attachments. According to Samuel Junghenn, founder of Cheap Website Designs, a company which offers one of most affordable ecommerce web design services online, this latest announcement by Google would prove to be a boon for thousands of small ecommerce companies which struggled to offer their global customers with a reliable online payment system.

Samuel explains, “A lot of small mom and pop ecommerce sites struggled to compete effectively with bigger brands because they couldn’t come up with an efficient payment system. Paypal, while it’s widely used in the U.S., isn’t quite as popular in other countries and customers are still weary of using their credit cards online to make payments."

Samuel feels that with Google allowing people to send and receive money, ecommerce would get a really strong boost. He anticipates that even outside the U.S., small businesses would start making their presence felt online and would do so with renewed confidence, when they realize how easy it becomes to charge customers through Gmail.

According to the article on CBS Local, this new feature actually draws on Google Wallet – an app which was originally intended to make in-store payments easier through the use of smartphones but customers ended up using it heavily to make payments online. Google wallet made the entire process of making payments very easy by enabling users to store their credit card information with it. Now that wallet has been integrated with Gmail, users can quickly send money to their friends and families across the United States without feeling compelled to either take out their credit cards or leave their Gmail inbox.

Samuel anticipates that even though the services are currently available only to residents of the United States, it would soon be made global.
