Reaching this milestone validates the principles and beliefs we’ve held since Trifecta started: By surrounding yourself with great people, you can build a great company and great things will happen.

Trifecta Technologies today announced the addition of its 100th employee, marking an important milestone in the growth of the web-based solutions provider started by Doug Pelletier in 1991. In the beginning, Trifecta Technologies helped companies migrate their antiquated IBM mid-range computers to high-speed UNIX servers. Since then, Trifecta has continued to embrace new and emerging technologies, partnering with companies like IBM to become an industry-recognized expert deploying eCommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce. Trifecta was an early adopter of Linux, Java, and other web application development technologies. In recent years, Trifecta has partnered with industry leader,, bringing more than twenty years of business systems integration and transformational success to the Salesforce Platform. Trifecta has been recognized for its native iOS and Android mobile applications, as well as innovative custom web application development, which now ties in closely with its work developing solutions on the Salesforce Platform.

Trifecta’s ongoing strategy to hire and retain great employees from the local area has worked in its favor throughout its history, allowing Pelletier and his team to provide customers like Burt’s Bees, Carlo’s Bakery, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Varsity Brands, and Walt Disney Resorts with outstanding business solutions that have significantly transformed their organizations.

“Adding the 100th employee to our team is meaningful to our company in many ways,” said Doug Pelletier, founder and president of Trifecta Technologies. “Reaching this milestone validates the principles and beliefs we’ve held since Trifecta started: By surrounding yourself with great people, you can build a great company and great things will happen.”

Trifecta’s evolution from a small company with two employees based in the back of an old warehouse at 12th and Green Streets in Allentown to an industry-recognized technology leader can be highlighted by the office space that Trifecta will occupy in the near future. In Spring 2014, Trifecta will occupy 18,000 to 24,000 square feet that will appeal to the new generation of technology experts in a soon-to-be renovated historic building in downtown Allentown, taking part in the revitalization of that area sparked by the creation of the Neighborhood Improvement Zone (NIZ). Trifecta joins a wave of companies like National Penn Bank, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Buckno, Lisicky & Company and the Philadelphia Phantoms in the move to downtown Allentown in the coming months and years.
