Since the tornado hit Moore, Oklahoma on May 20th, appliance and furniture retailer, Goedeker's has joined the movement to send relief to those whose lives were overturned. The company has focused on encouraging their customers to participate in a way that can't be supplied by money alone - giving blood. Goedeker's has sent out emails to their customers and subscribers with information on how to get involved and work with the Red Cross. There are also banners and links on the company website pushing personal involvement in disaster relief. Owner Steve Goedeker says that he hopes they have been able to assist in some way and his prayers are with Moore.
For more than 60 years, Goedeker's has been a trusted name in home appliances, furniture, and electronics. From the first repair shop opened by Ben Goedeker at his home in 1951 to the 50,000 square foot showroom and warehouse currently operating under the leadership of his son, Steve, Goedeker's has provided generations of Saint Louis residents with unbeatable prices on name brand kitchen appliances including GE Appliances, laundry machines, home furniture, and mattresses.
