Born of the minds of three risqué entrepreneurs, envisioned and then written on a paper napkin over lunch, Smartipants Productions Company will enliven women all over the globe.

The production company is made up of three dynamic businesswomen, Wanda Csanyi, Brenda Tait, and Anne Miner. Each woman brings experience in very different business, cultural, and personal backgrounds, a perfect combination for this venture.

Anne Miner, spokesperson for the new company says, “according to Dr. Spiegel, Stanford Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, 'one of the best things that a man can do for his health is to be married to a woman, whereas for a woman, one of the best things she can do for her health is to nurture her relationships with her girlfriends', and Smartipants productions will provide opportunities for women to improve their general health and well-being through spending time with other women."

Smartipants Productions has a vision to inspire women of all ages to shed their limitations and see possibilities through fun and education. They encourage women all over the world, of every nationality and every genre to open themselves to possibilities so they can experience the full potential of being a powerful, vibrant person who is not limited by their beliefs or traditions. They invite women to learn and grow with them.

The production company has already begun cementing the plans for its first event, a weekend of entertainment, relaxation, food and fun – exclusively for women.

Smartipants’ Weekends4Women are for any woman who longs for some “girl time”, a time to reflect, refresh, and reconnect with your “self”. Women of all ages and all stages are welcome to join Smartipants at the historic Elmhurst Inn & Country Spa November 8th to 10th, 2013. Come alone, or bring a friend, a sister, mother, or daughter, any woman who wants to have some fun.

Smartipants will be taking over the entire hotel on Friday night as they kick off with a pajama party. The weekend is planned so everyone has the opportunity to learn, relax, shop, and have fun. There will be opportunities to laugh and learn through a variety of workshops, stretch out the kinks through Yoga, learn some new dance moves or pamper yourself in the Spa.

Live entertainment includes the spectacular “moodivator”, Carole Bertuzzi Luciani, author of "I have a story for you ..." Volume 1 and Volume 2 and the wonderful, wild and wacky Jezebel Pepper.

The weekend wraps up with prize draws, and guests go home refreshed and rejuvenated. Endorphins will be abundant as a result of all the laughter. Participants will take home new found knowledge and confidence as well as a fresh perspective on life.

The Smartipants official charity is The Power of Hope, a new non-profit organization that collects gently loved teddy bears and other stuffed animals, and wraps them with a new pair of children’s pajamas; these packages are then distributed to disadvantaged children at Christmas and to the children arriving at Women’s Emergency Shelters. In addition, the Power of Hope assembles and provides “comfort kits” to the Women’s Emergency Shelters for women who often arrive with only the clothes they are wearing.
