Columbine Label Company, known for their custom label printing, is one of the 2012 winners of the prestigious Eugene Singer Award for Management Excellence. This award recognizes excellence in business management measured and defined by an established set of growth and profitability ratios through the participation in the TLMI Management Ratio Study. This is Columbine Label's second time winning in the small company category. Company President Greg Jackson commented, “Winning the Singer award again is a really big honor and very exciting for the entire Columbine team. We have a good number of long term employees that take a great deal of pride in their work, and strive to make us a top performing company. To win this award, particularly considering the quality of the other TLMI participants, is really a testament to their efforts and hard work. My congratulations to our entire team, as well as our customers and suppliers who make all of this possible.”
The Columbine Label Company was formed in 1988 to produce flexographically printed, pressure-sensitive labels. The company was founded by a husband and wife team and began in a small, 1500 square foot, leased facility in Littleton, Colorado. Starting with a small, leased Mark Andy 3 color press, Columbine Label began production in July and hired its first employee in January of 1989. Today, Columbine Label remains a privately owned and operated business, having been purchased by its current ownership in February 1999. Columbine Label creates and manufactures custom food labels, beer bottle labels, nutritional labels, chemical labels, household labels and promotional labels. They are able to customize each label to almost any specifications a business may need and are proud of their commitment to excellent customer service and quality custom label printing.
