KidCheck, Inc. today announced it has added multiple new features to its secure children’s check-in solution. New features include integrated background checks, broadcast email capabilities, volunteer text messaging and additional child label and guardian tag printing options for greater flexibility.

Integrated Background Checks
Background checks of all volunteers and employees in contact with children are extremely important both for child safety and to protect organizations from liability. KidCheck’s Integrated Background Checks, with our partner Protect My Ministry, allow organizations to utilize already existing information available through the volunteer’s and employee’s check-in account, plus some additional data, to request a background check with just the click of a button. Results and documentation are automatically saved to the individual’s profile in the organization’s secure KidCheck account for ongoing, immediate access to results. Background checks are thorough, easy and designed to help save time and improve organization.
The Broadcast Email feature allows organizations to quickly and easily send an email to a group of people, including attaching documents, right through KidCheck. Recipients are chosen based on a variety of criteria such as parents, volunteers, or both; check-in date range; and campus, template and location groups. Broadcast Email saves time and money as it eliminates the need for a separate email service or the need to manually create emails and lists.
Volunteer Broadcast Text Messaging
KidCheck’s comprehensive Broadcast Text Messaging feature has been updated to now include the ability to send broadcast emails to volunteers as well.
Organizations determine who to include based on filters such as parents, volunteers, or both; check-in date range; and campus, template or location groups. Broadcast Text Messaging allows one text to be sent to a large group of people right through KidCheck to easily handle last minute updates or other notifications.
Label Printing Options
Based on customer requests, additional options have been added to the name badge and guardian receipt printing options for greater flexibility. These include the ability to turn off child name tag printing for just certain locations/classrooms, as well as the option to turn off guardian receipt printing for specific chosen templates (i.e. services, classes). Additionally, to provide flexibility for sensitive medical conditions, the choice to print allergy and medical condition names on child tags is now available across all KidCheck editions.
