According to the US Centers for Disease Control the states with the highest incidence of lung cancer include Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and West Virginia. The states with the highest incidence of mesothelioma include New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maine, Washington, and Wyoming.
