“The quality of the equipment was excellent,” says Bob Edwards of 41 Live. “Classic Part Rentals Sacramento exceeded our expectations, and I would use Classic again without a doubt.”
Folsom, CA (PRWEB) June 11, 2013
When it comes to providing rental needs for big outdoor events, Classic Party Rentals leaves the competition in its wake. That was never more true than on Folsom Lake over the weekend of May 31st to June 2nd, when hydroplane boat racing made its triumphant return to the Sacramento area for the first time in 46 years. Classic Party Rentals contributed key infrastructure to the race promoters.
The event, known as Big Wake Weekend, featured the top-level of boat racing among these powerful hydroplane crafts, which boast 3,000 horsepower engines. So-called Unlimited Hydroplane racing, in which boats can reach speeds of up to 200 miles per hour, made its return to the Folsom Lake for the first time since 1967.
The three-day affair included food, live music and beer gardens, and kicked off early each day, with gates opening as early as 6 a.m. on Friday, and at the more modest hours of 7 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. So people were certainly waking up early for Big Wake.
The Sacramento branch of Classic Party Rentals worked with event promoters 41 Live to bring to life an event nearly 50 years in the making. Classic provided the tents for the bleachers and media center, as well as D8 lounge furniture, basic tables and chairs, linens, and all the kitchen equipment utilized by Randy Peters Catering.
The boats provided the speed, and an estimated 30,000 spectators were on hand to witness it.
“The quality of the equipment was excellent,” says Bob Edwards of 41 Live. “Classic Party Rentals Sacramento exceeded our expectations, and I would use Classic again without a doubt.”
“Special thanks to Bob Richards of 41 Live for affording us the opportunity to be a part of this amazing event, and bringing the fastest boats in the world back to the Sacramento/Folsom area,” says Shook Chand, branch manager of Classic Party Rentals Sacramento.
