Attorney David Brown has been nominated as a Representative to the Board of the Washington State Association for Justice. In this capacity David will participate in the Associations’ ongoing efforts to ensure that all people have access to a fair justice system, and that insurance companies, hospitals, and employers are held accountable.

Attorney David Brown is pleased to announce he has been nominated to serve as Board Representative of the 2nd Congressional District to the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ). David is a partner in the law firm of Brett Murphy. As Board Representative, David will work closely with the best in the legal field to promote a fair justice system and the right to trial by jury.

WSAJ is the established and highly regarded legal organization that engages in a variety of efforts and projects to ensure that anyone harmed by misconduct or negligence can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms. Throughout its distinguished 50-year history, WSAJ has supported this goal through intensive legal work related to:

·         Drafting and supporting legislation that holds the insurance industry accountable ;
·         Protecting whistleblowers and their jobs;
·         Ensuring fair practices in workers compensation claims;
·         Maintaining accountability for negligent hospitals;
·         Offering scholarships and mentoring programs to high school and college students interested in entering the legal field.

In WSAJ’s own words:

“We believe in the fundamental principle that everyone is equal in a court of law in our society. We oppose special immunity provisions and special legal protections for the rich and powerful against the rights of people. Just as individuals should be personally responsible for their actions, government, employers and corporations have a duty to the people of Washington to be responsible and accountable.” (go to to read their mission statement.)

David Brown is honored to be nominated for this position, and will be one of two 2nd Congressional District Representatives to the WSAJ Board of Governors. In this role, David will help set the direction and focus for the association for the next two years.

“I am looking forward to serving as representative to the WSAJ Board since in my work as a personal injury attorney, I constantly see situations where the insurance industry balks when it comes time to settle my clients’ claims. Since WSAJ focuses hard on creating and supporting legislation to hold insurance companies accountable, my work with the Board will have a direct positive effect on my clients and anyone who has been injured in an accident.” David Brown

Attorney David Brown focuses the majority of his professional energy on personal injury and wrongful death law. He works with clients across the Seattle Metropolitan area and throughout Washington State to ensure that they are fully compensated for injuries received through the negligence of others.
