Alameda, CA based Trenchless Pipe Bursting Manufacturer, TRIC Tools, hosted Maxliner USA of Martinsville, VA on June 5th and 6th. Gil Carroll and Dave Fletcher of Max Liner accompanied Gregg Abbott, Director of Sales and Bob Grenier, Director of Municipal Sales for a Pipe Bursting Field demonstration in Piedmont, CA.
While in Alameda, Max Liner accompanied TRIC to Piedmont where Heiko Dzierzon of Pipespy demonstrated an 80 foot long, 4" pipe replacement with TRIC's 30 ton Pipe Bursting Equipment. Pipespy is one of TRIC's first clients, who purchased their equipment in 1998. Both Mr. Carroll and Mr. Fletcher were excited to see TRIC's equipment used in the field.
After the Pipe Bursting demonstration, Max Liner and TRIC unwound in Jack London Square's Kincaid Restaurant. TRIC's Michael Lien and his daughter Karina joined the companies for lunch. While at Kincaids, Max Liner and TRIC discussed their parallel paths in developing and testing their pipe rehabilitation technologies. "I enoyed the lunch, meeting Gil and Dave while taking some pictures with Dad's camera." commented 12-year old Karina Lien.
